ASIAN WOMEN NEED YOUR HELP!

As of January 16, 2012 funding from the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP) to provide Asian women with Clinical 
Breast Exams and Screening Mammograms has been suspended indefinitely.
 
Agencies that were previously able to provide access to mammograms for Asian women have recently found themselves backlogged 
due to decreased funding. Women in need of these services are being waitlisted.

Asian women are at a greater risk for breast cancer since they are least likely to get a screening mammogram. They are also at a high 
risk for finding cancer at a later stage, resulting in mortality. 

Screening mammograms save lives!

Through a collaboration with A Silver Lining Foundation, one of the few organizations in all of Illinois funding cost free mammograms for 
women in need, our women can continue to access this potentially lifesaving screening mammogram. 

To make this happen we need your support!
Please donate in any amount to support A Silver Lining Foundations outreach 
in the Asian community  every $135 raised will fund one mammogram.
